The ASUS K40AF features the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Mobile Processor. It delivers crisp and clear visuals on its 14 high definition 16:9 LED-backlit display while Altec Lansing ®speakers with SRS Premium Sound technology deliver high definition audio to complete that cinematic experience.
The ASUS Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) features the Power4Gear Hybrid application and the Energy Processing Unit (EPU). Power4Gear Hybrid manages power allocation and usage according to the user preferences in relation to the current task they need to perform. The EPU accurately detects the systems power requirements and makes the necessary power adjustments.
The ASUS K40AF was designed to provide a comfortable computing
experience. It features the IceCool design, with strategically
positioned heat vents that keep the palm rest below the average human
body temperature. ASUS IceCool design keeps the palm rest cool even
after long hours of computing.
